Inverza

A weather intelligence app for landscape photographers.

I built Inverza because every weather app I used lied to me. They said "sunrise at 6:47" when a mountain ridge blocked the sun until 7:23. They said "60% clouds" without telling me where the clouds were. They had no idea what afterglow, hoarfrost, or valley mist even were.

So I built the tool I wished existed at 4am on a mountain.

Inverza detects 15 photo conditions — afterglow, fog, frost, aurora, storm light, Milky Way, moon silhouettes, and more — each with a confidence score. It checks where the clouds sit relative to the sun's actual direction. It ray-marches NASA elevation data to give you real sun times, adjusted for terrain. It shows you where mountain shadows will fall up to 30 hours ahead. And it has a built-in AI weather chat that actually speaks photographer.

Free on iOS. No accounts, no tracking, better photos.
